Ref Point

Terms of Service

Ref Point is a public library of design and coding sites that are already live, run by the Ref Point team. These terms cover the site at ref-p.com and the accounts on it. Using the site means you accept them. Questions go to alan.chris.beltran@gmail.com.

The service

Ref Point collects live websites, files them on named pages, and links out to the real pages. Browsing a published library is free and works without an account.

An account adds your own pages, bookmarks, follows, and subscriptions. You need a working email address for it, and you are responsible for what happens under your login. Sign-in works with an email and password, or with your Google or GitHub account.

We may change, pause, or retire parts of the site. Draft pages stay private until you publish them.

What you publish

You may add cards to your own pages. By publishing a card you confirm you have the right to point at that page and that the link goes to a site that is publicly reachable. We store the URL, a title, a description, and any still or loop you attach, and we may edit the text for length or accuracy.

You keep the rights to what you write. You let Ref Point display it on the site while it is published. We remove a page when you unpublish it, when you delete the account, or when it breaks these terms. A card someone else already copied onto their own page can stay on that page.

The sites in the library

Every card points at a website someone else made. Stills and loops exist to identify the work, and each card links to the original. Trademarks and designs belong to their owners.

If your site is in a library and you want that card taken down, write to alan.chris.beltran@gmail.com and we will look at it.

What we do not promise

The site comes as it is. We try to keep it online and accurate, and we cannot promise either. Links point at other people’s websites, and what happens there is between you and them.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost data, or indirect damage from using the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited.

Changes

These terms change when the site does. The date at the top of the page says when they last moved.
